The First Night at McKinney, Texas Target

It took Nadine and I months of planning and strategizing for many different reasons (too many reasons to name) to make this big decision. Our family of four has chosen the opportunity to go on an adventure in a motorhome. You ask, "How long?" Our answer, "We don't know yet!" We might be back this fall or next year. I think that's why we decided to call it an adventure.

I started off by saying that I wasn't going to list any reasons, but decided to name a couple here. My first reason starts with the responsibility of any family provider: "I have education consulting opportunities and clients on the west and east coast as well as a state in the north that we want to serve a little more up close."
Bryce 11 y.o.

Brooke 9 y.o.
A second reason is that we feel this is a season where we want to spend special time with our 11 year old Bryce and 9 year old, Brooke. And of course, Nadine and I get to work together every day serving kids in schools across the country and my two young adults (Bryce hates it when I call him a "kid").

Last Wednesday, after we loaded our bikes, it was time to go. However, it was too late to go any where too far, but the local McKinney Target at Custer and 121. We survived our first night, and left the next morning headed for our next stop - Jackson, MS.

We look forward to what the future brings!
