First Day on the Road: McKinney to Jackson
I know that I won't be able to write a post every day; and I'm about to be really busy till late June. So I won't expect too much out of myself when it comes to writing posts for this blog. Plus, I might be only one who reads this and write for the sole purpose of reminiscing years from now. :)
We are headed to South Carolina for a charter school project due at the end of June. Along the way, we stopped in Bossier City, Louisiana and had some boiled crawfish and shrimp at the local walk-in Crawfish Tyme.
Of course, you can't drive through West Monroe, LA and not stop to eat at The Duck Dynasty restaurant and take a few pictures.
Our first stop: Jackson, Mississippi. We're all hooked up, and adjusting to the RV.

| At the local walk-in "Crawfish Tyme." There was only one table in the restaurant. |

The First Night at McKinney, Texas Target
It took Nadine and I months of planning and strategizing for many different reasons (too many reasons to name) to make this big decision. Our family of four has chosen the opportunity to go on an adventure in a motorhome. You ask, "How long?" Our answer, "We don't know yet!" We might be back this fall or next year. I think that's why we decided to call it an adventure.

Last Wednesday, after we loaded our bikes, it was time to go. However, it was too late to go any where too far, but the local McKinney Target at Custer and 121. We survived our first night, and left the next morning headed for our next stop - Jackson, MS.
We look forward to what the future brings!
